The Thrift Savings Plan plans to redesign its Web site as early as September.

Mockups of Web site design options will be presented to the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board — which oversees the TSP — in May, said Executive Director Gregory Long at a board meeting Tuesday.

Neither Long nor members of the Web site redesign team would say how the Web site might be improved, since work has just begun, but board members and staffers said the Web site is sorely in need of an upgrade.

"Our site is a bit dated, and we're working on it, full steam ahead," strategic planning director Renee Wilder said. "I think you'll really be pleased with where the Web site is going."
