17 vendors to offer cloud email to agencies under GSA contracts

The General Services Administration has awarded contracts to 17 vendors to provide cloud email services to federal agencies and state, local and tribal governments, the agency announced Thursday.

Through 20 blanket purchase agreements valued at $2.5 billion over five years, the vendors will offer cloud email, services to integrate and migrate data moving to the cloud, and cloud-based office automation and electronic records management services.

The vendors:

• Accenture Federal Services LLC.

• Autonomic Resources LLC

• CGI Federal Inc.

• Ciracom Inc.

• Computer Sciences Corp.

• Dell Federal Systems L.P.

• DLT Solutions.

• General Dynamics Information Technology Inc.

• Harris IT Service Corp.

• IBM Global Business Services.

• Lockheed Martin.

• Onix Networking Corp,

• Science Applications International Corp.

• Smartronix Inc.

• Systems Research and Applications Corp.

• Technosource LLC.

• Unisys.

GSA has saved $2 million since migrating its own email system to Google’s cloud last year. It also provides cloud services to agencies under its Infrastructure-as-a-Service contract.
