The General Services Administration launched a new online portal Tuesday designed to help agencies figure out the best procurement vehicle for their IT needs, the agency said in a press release.

The IT Solutions Navigator will also provide agencies with market research tools and video tutorials.

Mary Davie, assistant commissioner for the Office of Integrated Technology Services at GSA, said the agency developed the portal in response to customer challenges finding the right way to purchase IT products and services.

“Our goal is to make acquiring IT through GSA easy. The IT Solutions Navigator takes a lot of the guesswork out of the process and gets us closer to that goal,” Davie said in a press release.

The portal will also allow GSA customers to chat online directly with customer service representatives instead of calling or emailing, according to the agency.
