NASA is looking for companies to provide agencies with desktops, laptops, servers and other IT equipment as part of its new $20 billion IT request for proposals.

The newest version of its Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) contract runs for five years with another five-year extension option, according to the RfP documents, released Aug. 16. Companies have until Oct. 14 to respond to the RfP, according to NASA.

The previous SEWP contract had more than 1.9 million products and services from more than 3,800 manufacturers, according to NASA.

Natesa Robinson, contracting officer at NASA, said in a cover letter for the RfP that the agency appreciated the feedback it received and incorporated private-sector suggestions to make the final RfP better.
