The nearly 20-year old legislation website is giving way to a more mobile friendly, according to the Library of Congress. launched as a beta site last year and has been built to offer increased functionality including access on a variety of mobile devices as well as more content regarding government and congressional actions and documents.

Beginning Nov. 19, visitors to will be redirected to and the Twitter account @thomasdotgov will be transferred to @Congressdotgov. will remain accessible from the homepage through late 2014 before it is retired.

The Library of Congress will be offering online training for agency employees and congressional staff on Nov. 14, Jan. 16, March 11 and May 15 at The agency also offers in-person training.
