Congress.gov launched as a beta site last year and has been built to offer increased functionality — including access on a variety of mobile devices — as well as more content regarding government and congressional actions and documents.
Beginning Nov. 19, visitors to Thomas.gov will be redirected to Congress.gov and the Twitter account @thomasdotgov will be transferred to @Congressdotgov. Thomas.gov will remain accessible from the Congress.gov homepage through late 2014 before it is retired.
The Library of Congress will be offering online training for agency employees and congressional staff on Nov. 14, Jan. 16, March 11 and May 15 at beta.congress.gov/help. The agency also offers in-person training.
