The General Services Administration has once again canceled its annual Training and Expo conference because of tight budgets and reduced travel spending.

“After careful review of projected attendance and continued travel budget reductions, GSA has made the decision to not hold an Expo in 2014,” the agency said on a website dedicated to the conference.

The agency said it will work to identify the most effective way to offer an expo in 2015 and that in the meantime the agency will be offering a wide array of online and virtual training.

The agency has also canceled its SmartPay Training Forum in favor of a virtual event to be offered some time in the spring or summer of 2014, according to the agency.
