The General Services Administration awarded 23 blanket purchase agreements March 6 for its newest strategic sourcing effort maintenance and operations supplies.
The agency said that by using the contract agencies will save a projected $16 million in the first year and $30 million every year after that.

GSA was tasked with developing 10 new strategic sourcing solutions by 2015 as part of an administration effort to cut $40 billion a year from procurement spending.
The companies that received awards under the new contract include; Capitol Supply, Inc., Galaxie Management, Inc., MJL Enterprises, LLC., Noble Supply and Logistics, Premier and Companies, Inc., SPS Industrial, Inc., SupplyCore, Inc., The Office Group, Inc., WECsys LLC, Wrigglesworth Enterprise, Inc., and W.W. Grainer, Inc.
