David McClure, the associate administrator of the Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies at the General Services Administration will be stepping down, according to the agency.

He has been a key figure in GSAs roll out of FedRAMP and in working to develop transparency tools for agency programs. McClure has been working in that role since August 2009. Before that he was the managing vice president for Gartner Inc.s government research team.

GSA administrator Dan Tangherlini said in a statement McClure has played a valuable role in making GSA a leader in digital innovation.

He has left a strong foundation that everyone at GSA, and the entire federal government, can build on in the years to come, Tangherlini said.
