Federal employees began receiving the 2014 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey April 29, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
The survey – which will be sent out over the next two weeks – is essential to advancing the administration’s commitment to improving government performance and employee engagement, OPM director Katherine Archuleta said in a letter to employees.
She said employee input on the survey is more important than ever as agencies work to improve morale and working conditions and ultimately the services agencies provide to the general public.
“I know how hard you work and how committed and unwavering the entire Federal workforce is in its service to the American people despite the effects of sequestration, and the accompanying reduced agency budgets, furloughs, and the shutdown. Our Federal workforce has persevered and continues to work to meet agency missions,” Archuleta wrote in the letter.
