Air Force selects 10 for NETCENTS-2

The U.S. Air Force has selected 10 companies for a Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Application Services contract.

Under the 10-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, the vendors "will provide services such as sustainment, migration, integration, training, help desk support, testing and operational support," said the Department of Defense announcement. "Other services include, but are not limited to, exposing data from Authoritative Data Sources to support web-services or Service Oriented Architecture constructs in Air Force enterprise environments."

The chosen companies are: Lockheed Martin, Jacobs Technology, SRA, L-3 Communications, Raytheon, InfoReliance, CACI-ISS, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, and IBM.

NETCENTS-2 is a contract vehicle for all Air Force netcentric and IT products.
