The General Services Administration's inspector general is looking for a new programmer to lead its information technology team.

The agency posted the opening on USAJOBS on Aug. 25 and is looking for a programmer to design, code and test the following frameworks and programming languages:

-          ASP.NET
-          MVC
-          Entity Framework and SharePoint
-          C
-          C++
-          JQuery
-          JavaScript
-          Microsoft SQL RDBMS

"The incumbent of this position will supervise the day-to-day tasks associated with information technology development; and, produce high-quality reports, have excellent communication skills and promote program goals and objectives," the ad said.

The OIG's office said it was looking for a candidate to provide "expert advice and assistance in structuring technology applications in support of business processes within the OIG and serving as an expert and consultant both to JPM management and to OIG executive leaders regarding integrating IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity."

The position is for a GS-14 grade with a pay range of $108,887 to $141,555 a year and requires a year of GS-13 level or requisite experience, emphasizing a background in agile development.

As team lead, the position requires a candidate manage the office's SQL Server databases, as well as managing a team of in-house IT developers.

The GSA OIG has a staff of more than 300 members and was responsible for recovering $243 million in criminal, civil, administrative and other recoveries in fiscal 2015.
