The Department of Labor is looking for vendors able to provide a FedRAMP-certified cloud to host the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) public disclosure website.

The site — which maintains filings on pension and health plans offered by private companies — currently contains approximately 12 terabytes of pdf forms, growing by about 450 gigabytes a year.

RFI: Sources Sought for Cloud Support Services

The cloud website would host all the documentation and provide a search function for users.

The current RFI is for only for hosting the website. The managing agency — the Employee Benefits and Security Administration — will maintain and improve the site, as needed.

While any potential vendor can submit a response, Labor is particularly interested in small businesses, HUBZone small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. If two or more capable HUBZone or veteran-owned small businesses are identified, the final solicitation will focus on those set-asides.

The initial contract is expected to last for 12 months.

Responses are due by 10 a.m. on Feb. 4.
