Got an unusually creative property management program? The General Services Administration has opened entries for its annual award highlighting innovation in real property management.

The Achievement Award for Real Property Best Practices and Innovation, now in its 18th year, celebrates innovation in asset management, sustainability and workplace innovation.

"We want to ensure that we are not missing out on any outstanding programs, which is why we want to hear from you," said Patrice Walker, GSA project manager, said in a press release. "We want to see the most innovative examples of real property management the government has to offer."

Winners of the 2013 awards included GSA's Public Building Service's Mid-Atlantic Region for its energy and funding savings program. The program captured more than $1 million in utility rebates through sales of solar renewable energy certificates, in addition to water and energy conservation programs that saved more than $978,000.

Entries will be accepted through Sept. 7 with an entry form that can be found on GSA's website.
