Senior Executives Association President Carol A. Bonosaro is retiring from the organization. SEA's board of directors announced her departure on Oct. 7; she will leave the organization on Nov. 4 and become president emeritus.

Bonosaro served as a member of the board from 1981to 1986 and as its chairwoman from 1983 to 1986. She became the organization's president in 1986 and has held that position ever since.

"It is with very mixed feelings that I leave the association," she said in a written statement. "After 25 years in government, and 29 years as president of SEA, however, it is time that I 'smell the roses.'"

SEA has already selected Bonosaro's successor, but has not identified the person.
