The Navy has released an app to help personnel learn operational security principles.

The app covers topics such as geotagging and eavesdropping servers. Released in December, the app,. Naval OPSEC, is the fifth release from the Navy. Sailors can log in using their Defense Department identification numbers, allowing the app to note their successful completion of the course in the Navy's training database.

Now, the Navy is planning to release more training apps in 2016, according to Navy Times, along with an online portal allowing access to every important training and personnel site.
