Dell Services Federal Government will provide the National Science Foundation with IT delivery and help desk services under a five-year, $88 million blanket purchase agreement.

NSF’s research and educational community includes 1,850 staff members split between the agency’s Arlington, Virginia, headquarters and field operations, with up to 250,000 science and engineering associates at colleges and universities worldwide.

The contract will see DSFG tasked with support for NSF's desktops, laptops and tablets; managing and maintaining the NSF Customer Relationship Management and analytics environment; and helping identify and deploy business process improvements, cloud and modernization opportunities.

"We are delighted to have been chosen by the National Science Foundation to provide the level of expertise and quality IT services that they require," said George Newstrom, president of Dell Services Federal Government. "We look forward to working collaboratively with NSF to ensure their constituents have the right technology and a seamless experience to fulfill their mission in research and education."
