An American contractor who worked for Booz Allen Hamilton on a project with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency was among the fatalities in the apparently intentional crash of Germanwings Flight 9525 in the French Alps, Yahoo reported.
Yvonne Selke of Nokesville, Virginia, had worked for the company for 23 years, according to the report. Booz Allen confirmed Selke's employment and NGA assignment, but provided no other details, according to Yahoo.
Emily Selke, Yvonne Selke's daughter, was also killed in the crash. Emily Selke had graduated Drexel University with honors in 2013.
Investigators have determined that the plane's co-pilot apparently locked the pilot out of the cabin and crashed the plane deliberately, according to media reports.
