Defense Department linguist charged with leaking classified information to terrorist organization
Mariam Taha Thompson, a linguist with the Defense Department, allegedly delivered classified information to a co-conspirator who has “apparent connections” to Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shiite group designated a foreign terrorist organization.
