Raj Iyer in January said he would leave his military job, after two and a half years, and would return to industry. CTO Jay Bonci said U.S. defense leaders "have to think about cloud as being a part of a resilience baseline." The Pentagon on Dec. 7 picked Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Oracle for the highly anticipated cloud computing deal. JWCC work is meant to connect the military’s most remote edge with its farthest headquarters, all while bridging classifications and other sensitivities. The Enterprise Application Migration and Modernization arrangement, or EAMM, is expected to kick off in the second or third quarter of fiscal 2023. The Pentagon is now working to institute JWCC, as pressure builds to seamlessly link the military services and more effectively process reams of data. Load More
