The General Services Administration recently released the list of 80 pre-awarded offerors in the $15 billion Alliant 2 Small Business IT and professional services governmentwide acquisition contract.

“After review and evaluation in accordance with the criteria established in the solicitation, the following organizations are deemed to be the highest technically rated offerors with a fair and reasonable price,” the pre-award notice said. “This list represents a complete roster of the apparently successful offerors.”

According to the GSA notice, this list does not constitute a notice of award. Rather, the pre-award notice provides offerors a chance to challenge the small business status of the winners, which is why offerors are designated “apparently successful” until official awards are made.

Once formally awarded, the Alliant 2 Small Business GWAC will consist of a five-year base period with the option to extend the contract for another five years. GSA issued the $50 billion general Alliant 2 awards in mid-November 2017.
