Leupold’s releasing some big news at SHOT Show this week. The D-EVO is an innovative solution to a longstanding problem faced by shooters in combat or competition. There’s no arguing that windowed red dot sights offer unrivaled situational awareness and speed, but reaching out requires an optical magnifier sitting behind the optic. Installing and removing it to add or reduce magnification takes time and attention. The D-EVO sits next to your reflex sight, giving you a 6x magnified view through your reflex optic with just a slight nod of the head and without breaking your cheekweld. No more peeping through a secondary sight on top of a magnified optic or dealing with manually operated magnifiers. It’s a bifocal for your carbine. There’s a lot more to learn about the D-EVO than we can fit here, so head over to GearScout.militarytimes.com for the full readout on the Leupold D-EVO and the new LCO reflex sight.
