The Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently signed on with GSA’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) and OASIS Small Business (SB) contracts for procurement of complex professional services.

“GSA is happy that our OASIS and OASIS Small Business suite of contracts are playing a role in supporting the nation’s health care system,” said GSA Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories Tiffany Hixson. “This [memorandum of understanding] also expands our partnership with civilian agencies and is consistent with our goal of providing our partners in government with streamlined contracts that help them more effectively meet their mission requirements, while also eliminating costly duplicative contracts.”

GSA and HHS representatives signed the memorandum of understanding at the HHS offices in Baltimore, Maryland, giving CMS access to a set of “Best in Class” multiple award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts.

The OASIS contract was first awarded in May 2014, and offers multiple business services to the entire federal government through one contract.
