The Department of Agriculture has awarded a $17.1 million IT management support contract to InquisIT LLC.

The Chantilly, Virginia-based tech company will provide services in the areas of software, hardware, cybersecurity and systems to the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service as part of the five-year, firm fixed-price contract. Support tasks will include video, network security, telecommunications, VoIP and telephony, virtual and on-site end-user support, cybersecurity engineering and system administration.

"We are pleased to support USDA APHIS and eager to help improve the efficiency of their IT systems," said Mike McDermott, president of InquisIT, in a press release.
